The Rav and the SportsRig
Once we purchased a tandem, a trailer to haul it was pretty much mandatory as I cringe at the thought of trying to get it onto the roof, and it sure won't fit inside! I chose the SportsRig because it is designed/made in the US, and is the most versatile, lightweight, high-quality trailer I could find. Also see it behind the Prius. General page here.
Today I had to get two bikes home from the bike shop by myself.
Couldn't have done it without the trailer. I'm using a Rocky Mounts tandem
carrier for the double bike, and a Yakima High Roller for the kid's single
bike. Both are exceptionally engineered carriers that I can recommend.
Hauling three old toilets to the dump.
